Dear Sir, Thank you for your prompt reply. After discussing the same with my friends & relatives, they have advised me to go for RO, since water supply in our area i.e. Janak Puri is irregular. It comes hardly for 30-45 minutes in mornings and sometimes for 15 minutes in the evening. Moreover, we are having bore well also; hence 24 hour supply of water is available. Further, you have mentioned boiling water for kids. I am now bit confused, I would be grateful, if you could guide me whether to go for RO / E-boiling water purifiers / UV purifiers. Thank you,

Our earlier suggestion of UV water purifier was based on quality of water supplied by MCD. Now as per above mentioned post, it is evident that your source of water is not permanent, you keep switching between tap water and bore well water. You also seem to have confused between boiled water, E-boiling and UV water purification. Since kids have low immunity levels that is why we suggested boiled water (using traditional means), as water contamination levels are high in rainy season. Secondly e-boiling is term used by water purifier companies for their UV (Ultra Violet) purification, here water passes through UV light deactivating diseases causing bacteria/virus which company claims as good as boiled water, so the term e-boiling. As your water source is uncertain then you have choice of Eureka Forbes-AQUAGUARD TOTAL SENSA which has Ro and UV water purification methods, here it senses water quality and employs appropriate purification technology, for example when input water source is MCD it will use UV for purification, if source is bore well (higher TDS levels above 500 mg/ltr) then it will use RO (reverse osmosis) as purification technology. by Ganesh Pawar
