I am looking for a laptop with AMD Turion 64X2 processor with at least 2 GHz and 2 GB ram and an Nvidia Graphics card and a 17-inch screen or at least 15-inch screen. Budget is 35k. Can you recommend one? Which is better in terms of Price-Performance-Reliability, AMD Turion 64X2 or Intel Core2 Duo in laptops?

Checkout the HP - Pavilion dv9601, it has an AMD Turion 64 X2 1.8 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard drive, Nvidia GeForce Go 7150M graphics card, 17-inch screen. Though you will need to upgrade the RAM to 2 GB. Its MRP is Rs 48,869 while the CI Price is Rs 34,000. The performance of laptops does not only depend on the processor but also on other components such as video card, memory etc. -Sharon Lobo
