In order to use the TV remote to control DVD with HDMI whether we need to buy the same brand (Samsung)? Both above mentioned DVD Players are good models with host of features, but latest Philips DVP5996K/94 is slightly better choice having all the features of above mentioned models but also has additional surround decoder in the form of DTS. Since both these DVD players have HDMI CEC will allow you to operate compatible LCD TV and DVD player with minimum efforts. It is not necessary to have both devices of same brand. I want to buy a MW oven. I have finalised 2 models 1. Samsung CE 1031 LFB and 2. Samsung CE 113 AE. I am bit confused as in specifications it says 113 has only convection as heat source while 1031 had 3 types combi, convection and grill. For a family of 6 members, having both veg and non-veg cooking requirement which one will be better? And does absence of combination heat source as in 1031, makes 113 AE not suitable for tandoori dishes? Thanks by akash67
