As you know traditionally CRT TVs are considered to have best picture quality and contrast performance over other TV technologies. As LCD TVs in 20-22 inch segment have resolution and connectivity to show HD content, can be used as PC monitor as well and will give good performance from DVD movie too. But TV broadcast may not look really good. Picture on LCD TV will surely look brighter, sharper with good colours if source is equally good. In 20-22 inch size segment LG 22LG30R is one of the good choice with higher dynamic contrast ratio, faster response time and decent connectivity, though sound output is on lower side. Thanks Ganesh, Can you please let me know the price range of the water purifiers you had mentioned i.e. Eureka Forbes-AQUAGUARD TOTAL RO and Zero B-Pristine,Kent Grand and also Ultra Filtration water purifiers? Also I heard that using the current technique of boiling water, followed by purifying with Aqua Sure does not provide best quality water. Can you please comment? Above mentioned RO purifiers are in range of Rs 14,500 – 15,500, as for ultrafiltration price range is Rs 3,700 - 7,500. But choice between these two purification technologies depends upon water quality in terms of TDS, hardness level and other contaminants. You can get water tasted at locally reputed analytical laboratories, also some of the manufacturers like Eureka Forbes and Zero B (ION India) also offers such assistance. If TDS level is one higher side boiling and them simple filtering will not ensure pure drinking water with better taste, but this process will surely ensure less contaminated water free of bacteria and viruses. by Ganesh Pawar
