I want to buy a compact camera with a good optical zoom (min 6x). I have shortlisted "Olympus mju1060", "Panasonic TZ15" and "Canon A2000". Though feature wise Panasonic is good, but its slightly bulky and also I have being advised by local photographers against it. I was prefering mju1060. Which would be the best. Why is such huge price difference between 40S400A & 40X450A. Is it due to higher contrast ratio? If so will it make difference when HD telecast comes to India? Here you are comparing Sony mid-end 40 inch Full HD TV with its flagship series model which has to be high-end in terms of features and performance. Sony KLV-40X450A is superior in terms dynamic contrast ratio, has 10-bit panel, 100/120 Hz motion flow technology, higher sound output with better speaker configuration and better connectivity including 4 HDMIs, USB port and digital media port along with host of improved picture features. We truly agree with that price difference is not only huge in terms of comparison but also too much for a 40 inch LCD TV, when you can consider Samsung 6 series model 40A650 with almost similar features, at almost two third of the Sony X series model. You are rightly mentioned that when you going to hook home theater system with TV, you will not need higher sound output in TV. Home theater systems usually have higher sound output and better speaker configuration so naturally gives better surround performance, which TV can not match with its factory fitted speakers. Onboard TV speakers are usually good enough for regular TV broadcast for genres like news and serials but will not give desired effect from music and movies. by Ganesh Pawar

I bought a Philips DVD player of Model 3256X/94 some days back in that player songs are not playing continuously which different folders of different films (i.e. it is not jumping from one folder to other automatically) their is any chance to setup to play songs continuously from different folders without attaching to TV. by sutariravinder

In Philips DVP3256X/94 you can play MP3/WMA songs from a folder starting from selected file to the end song of the folder. But to enter to play songs from subsequent folder, you will have to select that particular folder manually using remote. Here TV serves as a display for DVD menu and helps in choosing desired files/folders, so without this arrangement navigation may be difficult. by Ganesh Pawar

Dear Ganeshji, thank you for your important comments which helped me to decide 32LG80FR LCD. Now the dimensions mentioned on LG website and Compareindia are as follows: width 830mm, height 518. 7 (w/o stand), 581.3 (including stand), depth 104 (w/o stand) and 232 (including stand). Can u please let me know whether these dimensions especially of width i.e. 830mm are calculated with sliding speakers? If not then please let me know. Because if speakers slide open after TV is turned on then actual width will increase. I am furnishing my house and want to design a revolving stand for it. So I need exact dimensions to place TV. by saifeekb

First thing first LG-32LG80FR does not have sliding features, which only available in 42 inch model of Jazz series. So we hope that rest of dimensions information will help you in designing a stand. by Ganesh Pawar

All the DVD player manufacturers use similar technology to read data saved on inserted discs be it scratched or not, while brands like Philips and Onida use this as an USP or marketing communication theme, while others use some other messages to communicate their advantages. But for DVD players Philips has really good choices at good price points, so you can look for options from it.
