I have an old BPL TV which recently I got it repaired as the picture disappeared I was only able to hear the sound when the TV mechanic first checked the TV he did soldering and repaired it he took 300 for the first repair the TV was running ok for 3 days after again which the picture disappeared when I again called up the TV mechanic he said the supply IC of the TV will have to be replaced he took another 500 for the same Please let me know what is this IC and how much does it take to repair it for normal CRT TV. by bigboss1975
IC or Integrated Circuit is important component of television for variety of processes. It usually costs more when it comes to replacing them. We would suggest you to ask for assurance from TV mechanic about durability of replaced IC, as it is pointless to spend such money every time considering its an old TV set. By Ganesh Pawar

Is this projector fit to screen movie in a hall of 400 people with distance between projector and screen being about 40 mtrs?
ViewSonic - PJ560D can create diagonal image measuring 30-300 inch from viewing distance of 1.2-12 meters. Maximum image size of 300 inch is good enough for hall accommodating 400 people, but thrown distance of 40 meters is much more than required. We would suggest you to get in touch with company or distributors who will be able to guide you on right solution after making site inspection. You can get in touch with AV solutions provider like Actis Technologies Pvt. Ltd for more help. By Ganesh Pawar

Hi sir, I want to know what is the difference between HDMI READY and FULL HDMI TV. Sir I want to tell u buy an example suppose I have HDMI ready TV and a home theater system of HDMI capable and on other hand I have full HDMI ready TV and HDMI capable home theater than what will be the difference. by vikasnehra
It seems you are really confused between different terminologies/jargons used for latest HDTVs. First lets keep aside terms like HDMI ready and Full HDMI ready aside, as they are irrelevant/non-existent. Most commonly you must have heard terms like HD Ready and Full HD LCD/Plasma TVs. Both this terms refers to resolution of display and its capability to display HD content from compatible source. HD Ready TVs have maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and while displaying 1080p signals it will have do some resizing, which may result in loosing some of the content. While 1920 x 1080 is Full HD resolution which will display 1080p signals without any resizing, giving complete pixel to pixel representation. As for home theater with HDMI 1080p upscale capability will do the upscaling of DVD movies (480P) to make it better looking on HD ready or Full HD TV sets. This arrangement will give better picture performance than by using component video output of home theater. By Ganesh Pawar
Hi sir, I am planning to buy a home theater of Sony I have chose 2 models DAV-DZ870W AND DAV-FX900KW which one will give better sound quality and which one having HDMI and USB port 2.0 and which one can play DVD audio and DAV-FX900KW is having 2 way surround speaker but other having one way is that any difference of sound output or quality between 1 way and 2 way, both are wireless but I want to know is that there is any option of wire or not. by vikasnehra
Though both mentioned DVD HTS have wireless ready technology but do not worry basically they come with standard wired option by default. To make them wireless you will have to invest in optional wireless kit. None of mentioned DVD HTS come with DVD Audio capability, but DVD video only along with other popular AV formats. Though in terms of audio performance Sony DAV-FX900KW is slightly better, but DAV-DZ870W is value for money choice with similar sound output, equally good floor standing surround speakers, but has additional USB port along with HDMI and Digital Media port.
