It would have been easier to suggest if you had mentioned your approx. budget. Both the brands chosen by you are good. You can have a look at Godrej - GDF 1402t or LG - WF-F7161DN.

Onida SG12FLTN has an EER of 10.64 and noise level of 39 db. Whereas, OGeneral ASG12A has an EER of 9.3 and noise level of 35 db. Considering the cost and the EER Onida SG12FLTN seems to be a better choice.

Though Onida is reputed Indian TV brand with quality TV sets, but is still new in field of audio products or for that matter home theater system. Onida HTR – 4800 seems good cheap AV Receiver + speaker package having 2 front floor standing speakers and good connectivity. It should give respectable performance in terms of surround sound if coupled with a good DVD Player. It should cost you anywhere between Rs 12000-14000. If you have any apprehensions about its performance, choose safer way of buying DVD Home Theater System from brands like Sony, Philips or Samsung which come in package with good performance.

Air conditioners air outlet being closer to wall will not affect its cooling or performance, as Hitachi - Quadricool TM RAV019EMD is designed to give overall cooling effect. While it louvers are adjustable so air flow can avoided from hitting the wall. It will give desired cooling effect through out the room.

For the room size mentioned by you have choices like Symphony-HiCool, Symphony-Sumo Jr and Bajaj-COOLEST SB2003. Air coolers are generally maintenance free, just requires regular cleaning so no professional servicing.

We did not suggest Symphony air cooler because their cooling capacity was not enough for the room size mentioned by and in some cases their price was too more than your prescribed budget.
