Bluestar-Super Deluxe WAE181YA, I purchased this model a day back. Installed it 7 feet height on the right side of my room, but this AC does not gives desirable cooling effect. The room in whole is not cooled off uniformly and switching it off brings the temp to normal in 15 min. My room is 140 sq feet. Any ideas, advice that might help in getting the desired affect. The AC has access to outside air, no wall beside it. The temp graph of AC depicts 17 to 18 temperatures but in effect it seems just 24-25. Had a blue star check it. Says its fine. It is advisable to get air conditioner installed at height of 5 feet from floor. Though cold air being heavy travels downwards and should give good overall cooling effect. If you find your air conditioner is not giving desired overall cooling effect, call Bluestar professionals again with external temperature meter to check whether room temperature is in accordance with displayed temperature.

You can check HSU-12H03/R(DB) which has a coloured panel. It should be sufficient for 120 sq. ft area.

I have installed a WASR09K20 | 0.8 Ton AC in a room of 11 * 11 Sq Feet.. But no matter how long i run the machine the temperature does not fall below 25 degrees. Is this normal? by ryanprem

Your room size seems to be large for the air conditioner capacity. But still you can check with the service engineer if there is any fault with the unit.

XQS60-78 seems to be a good choice with all the features. But, you can also have a look at models like Samsung-WA80TALEC, Whirlpool-Whitemagic F65 or LG-WF-T7062DN.

1.5 ton capacity air conditioner should be sufficient for the room size. You can look at brands like Voltas, Carrier, Hitachi, Samsung or LG.

I am planning to buy "K29V" TV from Videocon. Please advise if it is good buy. Alternatively, please advise any other 29" flat TV in this range. Also, provide CI store address in Chandigarh. Videocon-K29V is good 29 inch Flat TV with sound output of 700 PMPO. It should give satisfactory picture quality being CRT TV and backed with good after sales service from Videocon. Currently we do not have tie up with dealers in Chandigarh and dealer from Mumbai can not ship TV to your city because of high transportation, insurance etc charges including TV cost. It will not be feasible to you or the dealer. We would suggest you to bargain for best price considering CI price as benchmark.

Both are different series from Carrier. Choose one with higher EER or Star rating. Durakool is expensive due to its exterior panel and filters. But SX1 has higher EER.

Thanks for the response on Onida HTR-4800. Actually I was just interested in the receiver as the speakers I have chosen from Sonodyne (its receiver lacks a lot in features when I compare it with Onida HTr-4800.). Today I even saw a demo of Onida receiver seemed pretty decent for the price of 12,000. Even though Onida is new in Audio I would be interested to take a chance as sometimes you never know what reputed brands do not do a new entrant does it. Once I purchase it I will give a user review.
