Sharp Business Systems (India), a fully owned subsidiary of the Sharp Corporation, Japan, recently introduced the World's Largest 108-Inch LCD
monitor, the LB 1085, for commercial applications.
The LB 1085 monitor features a widescreen 108-inch advanced super view LCD panel, the maximum size that a single 8th-generation glass substrate (2,160 x 2,460 mm) manufactured at Kameyama Plant No. 2 can yield. This LCD monitor ensures excellent picture quality and a high contrast ratio (2000:1). The large display area is nearly equivalent in size to two tatami mats (approx. 3.2 m2) and can convey images to many people in wide interior spaces. Additionally, it also has a rich assortment of inputs, including
HDMI and
DVI-I connectors, which provides greater connectivity with a wide variety of equipment and devices. Its fan-less design minimizes noise and intake of dust from outside air further improves its level of technical sophistication as a commercial display.
The LB 1085 is priced at Rs 1,10,00,000. Speaking about the LB 1085 states Mr Sunil Sinha, Chief Executive, Sharp Business Systems said, "This professional LCD Monitor represents a technological marvel and its panels are manufactured at Sharp's state-of-the art 8th generation plant at Kameyama, Japan."
