Jan 16, 2008
Sony Ericsson's P1i hardly needs an introduction. This much-popular smartphone from Sony Ericsson is a feature-packed handset with touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, 160 MB in-built memory, QWERTY keyboard, et al. Now, Sony Ericsson has included GPS to the already impressive feature list of the P1i.

The GPS-enabled P1i comes with 3D maps, turn-by-turn directions as well as voice guidance. The GPS application comes with one-year validity during which time the phone can be used to direct you in over a dozen Indian cities as well as national highways and places across the globe.

The GPS version of the P1i comes bundled with a Bluetooth GPS receiver, GPS application and one-year validity. Of course, the phone is also available minus the GPS. No information on how much the GPS version will cost, the non-GPS is available currently for Rs 22,495.
