Sub : Malfunctioning of Aquaguard Booster Water Purifier.
While I convey my due honour to your good self, I apologize to express my utter displeasure to let you apprise of the mode of functioning of the Customer Service Centre, located at Guwahati which has exhibited a rare instance of gross negligence and indifferent attitude to rectify the faults detected in the water purifier, installed just a few months back. Of course, there are several such instances recorded in the website as far as the functioning of the said product of Eureka Forbes is concerned.
The machine was installed by push selling agents of the company against order No.197/ 018107 dated 28/9/2007 and started malfunctioning within a very short span of time which have been supplying contaminated water with odd smell, bitter taste accompanied with black sediments instead and just not consumable at all.
On complaint, the filter was inspected not less than five times in nine months and the service personnel came to the conclusion that the Filter Candle is responsible for the deficiencies and needs replacement but, instead, the candle was merely cleaned during their every visit. It is un-becoming on the part of a reputed Company.
Sir, with utter dismay I noticed that the filter candle, is of very shabby appearance, as if it served for not than three years while that of mine is of just 9 months old it has been hardened to its extreme and not capable of extract and supply the filtered water even with an adequate flow apart from contaminated smell and sediment. But, till the service personnel are indifferent and not feeling the indispensability of replacing the candle, in contrary they have been trying to let the purifier work in the same manner till the expiry of the stipulate Warranty Period, as so understood? Can this sort of attitude be termed as so called Warranty? I am scared about as to whether the purifier as a whole is an old and aged one and I was just made a goat of sacrifice, very shameful, indeed.
It was last attended on 29/7/08 and from the next day it has returned to its earlier stage. It is indeed harassing for me and apparently, their reluctance to redress my grievances stands substantiated. As a conclusive resort I have the honour to solicit your kind intervention so as to ensure that the purifier is rectified by any means if requires by replacement, forthwith, without applying the odd and mal-intention to work the machine in its defective status till the expiry of warranty, violating the warranty rules.
I have the opportunity to visit the website of www.compareindia.com and surprised to note your comments. Did you ever directed to your service personnel to let the consumer know the Complaint ID? Are not it within the purview of your jurisdiction to know the ID while the purifier was last attended on 29/7/2008? It is just provocative and can never be a pretext to establish the lapses on the part of a consumer and such type of unscrupulous comments may lead to complication to deal at Judiciary or Consumer Redressal Forum at National level. Please refrain yourself from such indifferent attitude to hear the grievances of a consumer and the practice to shunt your liability to a consumer. However the e-mail ID is duly furnished.

Company Response: This complain have been attended. We have replaced the candle with a new one & now the customer is happy.
I have purchase 1.5 Durakool from Rajdeep Electronics, Ahmedabad on 29.04.2008. We were used it 2 hours at noon and 2 hours at night. After 1.5 months it was suddenly stop after making too much noise. After calling Toll free no eng. was visited and found problem in motor. as per him motor was jam. He is ready to replaced motors. but I want to know that is it a brand quality of Carrier ? There are other low rated companies in AC market, but I have purchased that only because of Brand name and service. So, if you are confident on your product I want replacement of the AC and company is not ready to give replacement.
Today there is more then 10 days complain is pending and they are not giving any response. What to do? Please suggest.

Company response: The above complaint has been resolved on 14.07.08, the motor was replaced and after taking the required permission of Mr. Mehul for replacing the motor and the time was mutually fixed for Monday evening 7.30 pm. The same was satisfactorily done in presence of our person.

While on the subject I like to have the following technical clarification:-
It was felt during installation that exhaust outlet need 6 sharp bends due to space constraints.Your mechanic fixed one flexible hose to avoid more than 3 bends to fulfill design limitation of pressure drop. But the aesthetics is lost. I have seen some other flat owner of the same building have gone for 6 bends in similar circumstance. Kindly advise whether I can adopt 6 bends or to continue the same ugly look

This time on receipt of the same document back we will forward the same to the new address mentioned in your mail at Durgapur. However regarding the bends for exhaust outlet, company recommend maximum 3 bends in case of chimney is having 1000 or 1200 suction capacity, if in case the suction capacity of the product is lesser, then accordingly the bends for the ducting is suggested to the customer. To get the optimum use of the product we request for minimum bends for ducting. Incase of some area constraint we suggest to go for flexible pipe also.

Sir, with reference to the invoice Date:22-Aug-2007, Invoice no: 2076, Ref No:CF 513, purchased from Quilon Radio Service, Mainroad, Quilon. I Rajendra Babu (ph : 0474 2415824) had purchased a Philips 29"TV 29PT 2204, and from the first day itself it got complaints like at the time of power failure or if the main power is switched off, and after that when the power comes the TV set is not responding. And I complaint this in the authorized Philips service centre, and they serviced and returned. after that also I faced the same problem, again I contact the service centre, and they took the board, and after one and a half month, they brought back the board saying that all problem were solved.... but still I am facing same problem and more, like if I am trying to change the channel or increase the volume or anytime, the TV is getting off and starts automatically... the thing to be noted that if I am using any other appliances remote , then also same problem is happening... what I want to ask is that why this is happening for new products?. Any why it is not able to resolve within this two service...? So I request you to better replace my TV set, as we are troubled with this for the last 10 months....

Sir, I purchased Aqua guard Booster water purifier from "Clean World", Eureka Forbes Ltd., Franchise: Main Road, Jeypore (Koraput Dt), Orissa Phone NO. 06854230343; Cell: 09437097343 on 1.1.2008. Since a week the output of water has become very thin and I reported the matter to the authorized mechanic for immediate rectification. Even after lapse of one week nobody has turned up. Since Jeypore (K) is a heavy raining area and the municipal water we receive is very much contaminated. Due to inaction of the local authorized agent in attending the rectification work, we are suffering a lot. Please instruct the local authorized dealer, shopkeeper to attend the said work on priority basis. Tank you.

Dear Sir,
My name is V. Margabandu I bought a Samsung Split A/c - 1.0 ton on 15.04.08 (AS12FAXXTL ) BILL NO:19122 from GP electronics, 15, Sholinghur Road, Arakonam, pin-631001, (Tel no : 04177-230554). Upon receiving the product, Then they are send two technician and installed on 16.04.08 After then it was working upto 4 days only next day outdoor unit on time not my house and also area voltage dropped and immediately compressor off but fan only running .I made complain send to Dehli service center(BP NO.8407260272) . Then Samsung service engineer came to my house after 15 days back and found that the outdoor unit compressor failed. So they told me you contact purchased shop (s&s). Then I spoke to s&s person they promised to replace with in the week but 20 days passed upto till date nothing has been done. Why spoil the name of a reputed company by such irresponsible (s&s), service providers
I request you to please look into the matter seriously. Its summer now and the AC is an indispensable part of our lives. Hope to get a fast and positive response

It has been resolved as follows : The S&S Dealer has replaced the unit to the customer. Also Customer has been educated to use stabilizer in order to avoid failure due to abnormal voltage.
I bought a Godrej Pentacool double door 200l fridge in Dec 2004. In Apr 2007, I observed no cooling and called to service centre. The technician said that gas is blocked so we have to fill the gas. We paid Rs 900 for gas filling. After 20 days the same problem occurred and the gas was filled by the service centre, although free of cost. In this year too, i.e. May 2008, the same problem of no cooling occurred and Godrej service centre technician again said that probable due to internal leakage the gas is blocked and we have to fill the gas of Rs 1250. This is hot summer and I do not know how long I will pay more than Rs1000 each year to get my refrigerator working. Is it justified?

The above complaint has been closed. We have personally spoken with the customer (Ms. Ekta Khurana) and she has repaired the Refrigerator from outside, it is working properly and the customer is satisfied.
