Important notice for iPhone 3G buyers

Vodafone has issued an important notice for those of you who have booked the iPhone 3G. All those who have booked the iPhone 3G will have to go to a select Vodafone Store between August 20 and August 21 and confirm their iPhone booking by paying Rs 10,000 through either cash or credit card.

Vodafone has also released the official prices. The 8 GB version will cost Rs 31,000 and the 16 GB version will cost Rs 36,100.

After the booking is confirmed by making the payment, the phone will be available on August 22 with full demonstration, and you will have to pay the remaining amount then.

Why the cost of all Other Mobile phones (Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung) are Priced nearly Same all Over the World but iphone costs 3 times Greater in India than Europe, Australia or even USA. They are really looting Indians.

At 30k amount, its not worth that money, there are still better devices than iphone and at much lesser price, so in my opinion not a great deal, unless u r an apple fanboy!

Its not a good thing that a phone worth Rs 8500 is being sold for Rs 31,000 in India. Vodafone is openly looting Indians.
