Pros : Very good for closeup shots, zoom 10x, perfect for tourists.

Cons : Image stabilisation problem especially in low light.

Opinion : This camera is easy to handle, and best for tourist where quick shots are required. Value for money.

Pros : Good battery back up (300 shots with 1700mAh NI-MH battery), 10x zoom, easy to handle

Cons : Digital zoom may be noisy

Opinion : Bought S5800 at a price of Rs 10,700. Really good prosumer camera. Great clarity of the pictures. Optical zoom during movie is a great advantage.

Pros : Good zoom, comfortable, easy to use, good picture quality

Cons : Some purple fringing at highest zoom, no optical image stabilisation

Opinion : bought this camera a week ago, actually got its elder brother S5800 with 8MP and support for 8GB SDHC card. this camera is great, unless you are a professional photographer or very serious into photography it the best you can get for the price.
